Wordless Wednesday

I love cheese toasties. It’s a family favourite on Sunday nights served with tinned tomato soup. Sweet, simple Sundays! Do you have a favourite? Your turn to talk – I’m the wordless (wordfew) one on Wednesdays. Shall I keep this up – or save it for school hoildays? Do you love photos as much as me?

  1. Yes! Keep posting these each week if you can. I love photos but I love to look at the way you CURATE them. It’s like a creative writing exercise: triggering thoughts and memories and making a little story. x

Hey thanks Lea, Wouldn’t that be fun to have a creative writing month, where we all write a story about the same image? How could we do that? I would love to read some of your writing…I remember at school you were a great writer. How can I read you? Clare xxx

Yes please, if you are up to it I am! I love all of your photos, each one tells a little story or reminds me of something from my childhood…and I love cheese toasties too xx

Thanks Ingrid, me too! They are an essential on the meal planner in our place – how else would we ever be ready for the madness of Monday mornings. I’d love to hear more of your memories…feel free to share them here 🙂

Sweet, simple Sundays in Hobart winter… Homemade chicken soup (my mum’s old recipe from her mum), glass of good Tassie Pinot, crusty loaf, the whole family around the coffee table eating on laps, wood fire roaring. Bliss. Love your Wordless Wednesday Clare! Deb x

Hey Deb, it certainly seems like you guys did the right thing making that move. I am going to have to try to schedule a trip down there this year and taste that Pinot and watch Jasper on his bike…much love Clare

    Love you girl XO

Oh Ali, it must feel like so many miles away – which of course it is!!! I do love how we connect still over social media. I have fond memories of seating in your swing chair and eating your home backed cookies when Daniel and Jack were small. Big hugs to you and Daniel and Mark x

Yes do please keep wordless wednesday’s up. I love the images and I love cheese toasties but don’t think I’ve ever made one that looks that good. We’ve just returned from a holiday in Japan and Clare order what looked very much like a delicious cheese toasty for breakfast. Turned out to have custard in the middle instead of cheese – a custard toasty I guess. Also delicious!

  6. I’m greedy – I love your photos but miss your wonderful words! Please just post a quick thought or question to focus me while I wait for your next post!
Love the kindergarten photos – once a teacher always a teacher – even if you’re not in the clasroom.
